Jim was a friend. What a wealth of knowledge he had. How many people exist in the world that knew everything about flatheads and how to hotrod them. It was a pleasure to have known Jim and to have worked together on my 69 Ford F-100 Hotrod and to have learned some old school tricks from him, as well meeting some of his friends when they would come to visit. My condolences to Linda ( so sorry Linda ) and the rest of the family. Thanks Beth-Anne for sharing this news when I was trying to contact Jim’s email.

Love you so much, Dad! You’ve always been there for anyone who’s needed you, no matter what it was. All the time we spent going to hockey games, coming to see us, going on road trips together, working on your car or my trucks. I will cherish all the amazing, beautiful and fun memories we made together. You’re an example of what a great dad and husband should be. I miss you dearly. Love you for always, Dad! “Your favourite daughter”.

Sending my deepest sympathies to Linda and family on their loss of Uncle Jim. I am the middle child of Roland (Ron) and Joan Hochu, and having moved across the country many years ago, had few opportunities to visit with Uncle Jim and Linda, the last being in Port Hope, I believe, after Dad passed away. But I do have a few great memories of Uncle Jim’s visits when we were young. May your many wonderful memories give you strength and peace during your tough days.

    Regards, Jane Powell (Hochu)
