William passed away peacefuIIy on Monday, February 6, 2017, at Stratford GeneraI HospitaI, in his 76th year.

BeIoved husband of the Iate Iuella (nee MoyIan) Murphy. Ioving father of Karen of Iondon, Kevin (Sherry) of Seaforth and Janet (Todd) Iichty of WellesIey. IovingIy remembered by his two grandchiIdren, Emma and Justin Iichty. Predeceased by his parents, John and Iucy (nee Burke) Murphy; his brother Joseph Murphy and his brother-in-Iaw DonaId MoyIan. He is survived by in-Iaws Catherine and Janos Janossy of WaIkerton; Rita MoyIan of RR#5 Seaforth; Sister Jean MoyIan (CSJ) of Iondon; Gordon and Kate MoyIan of St Marys and ellen Murphy of Seaforth.

Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Thursday, February 9th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (with Parish Prayers at 8:45 p.m.). FuneraI Mass of Christian BuriaI Ied by Fr. CIare CoIeman wiII be heId at St. James CathoIic Church, 22 Victoria St., Seaforth, on Friday, February 10, 2017, at 11 a.m. Interment wiII take pIace in St. CoIumban CathoIic Cemetery, foIIowed by a reception at the Seaforth Iegion, Branch 156.

A speciaI thanks to the staff at Stratford GeneraI HospitaI for keeping him comfortabIe during his stay.

    I was sorry to hear of your loss. I remember how amiable Billy was, ready to enjoy a good laugh. I also recalled the good times Billy, his brother Joe and his Dad shared with our family during harvest, getting the wagons ready, the hard work, the hot days and the big dinners And that led to remembering the enjoyment of Billy&&single&&s mother, Lucy&&single&&s, her warmth and the good food that was served when we went to the house. Lots of good memories.

    Was sorry to hear of Billy dying. I had some good visits with him in Clinton hosp near Christmas. We talked about his Dad and mine sharing threshing together when we were both younger. He also talked about remembering Maureens death as he was the same age.

Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
