    March 9, 2012 at 11:10 AM

My profound sympathy to the Mann family:
You lost a husband, a father, a son and son-in-law and I lost a caring neighbor. Over a year ago, Bill came to my rescue, when I had fallen on the sidewalk with a smashed knee cap. Bill carefully helped me into his car and drove me to the hospital. The Bible refers to such men as Bill Mann, as Good Samaritans. I share your loss,
but I am comforted by the knowledge that such men as Bill Mann, “have walked this earth “and left their mark.
    Sincerely, Walter Fydenchuk

My thoughts are with you and have been with you for several days now, Steve, Mike, and Kevin. Tracy, I don’t think we have met and I don’t think I had the pleasure to meet Bill either, but I have taught both Steve and Mike and I currently teach Kevin at SHDHS. Their exceptional character is a tribute to both you and Bill. It is evident that they have been raised by wonderful parents because they are kind, respectful, and responsible young men. I am so sorry that your dad was taken too soon, boys. Don’t let everyone tell you that you have to be strong. It’s okay to feel weak sometimes too. I know you’ll lean on each other and your large circle of friends to get through the coming days. Take care of each other.

    Tracey, Steve, Mike and Kevin,

We can’t begin to tell you how sorry we are for your loss, Bill was a great man and Craig and I always looked forward to parking our lawn chair beside his during all those summer soccer games as well as our years together at the hockey arena. He was a kind and gentle soul who I know will be sadly missed. We will continue to keep you all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Tracy, Steve, Mike and Kevin; Terri and Mike; Jess and Becca and families. Please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of a wonderful man. We will always remember Bill and what a great fan he was to his sons who played hockey and supported his family with love. Our hearts go out to you in this sad time and while it may be of little comfort to know he is finally at rest; he will be sorely missed by our community. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
