Peacefully at Blue Water Rest Home, Zurich on Thursday, February 14, 2019 of Zurich at the age of 72. Dear husband of Agnes (Bedard) Willert for over 46 years. Dear father of Douglas Willert of Zurich, Dennis & Nicole Willert of Lucan, and Damion Willert of Zurich. Beloved grandfather of Noah, Jessie; Ashton, Olivia, Ethan and Edison. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Judy McDonald of Allen Park, Michigan. Predeceased by his parents Leland and Sarah Anne (Carlile) Willert, brothers Louis and Wayne, and brother-in-law John McDonald. Fondly remembered by the Bedard family. Sam will be greatly missed by his four-legged friend Charlie. A special thank you to the staff at the Blue Water Rest Home for their care and compassion.
Friends may call at St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church, 22 Mary Street, Zurich on Tuesday, February 19th from 9:30 – 10:30 AM where the Memorial Mass will be held at 11 AM with Fr. Matthew George, Presiding. Cremation with spring interment St. Peters Cemetery, St. Joseph.
Donations to the Canadian Paraplegic Association or JDRF Canada (Juvenile Diabetes) would be appreciated by the family.
