Peacefully at Craigwiel Gardens, Ailsa Craig with her family by her side on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, in her 60th year. Donna will be missed by her cherished and devoted husband of over 38 years, Alex Westman. Proud mom of Sara-Beth and Brian Mitchell. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Gale Kinney of Ailsa Craig, Ruth and Larry Pratt of Hinton, Alberta, and Lyle Westman of Granton. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and special friend Vic Bakker. Predeceased by her parents, Don and Marion (Turner) Woodward.
Donna was well known for her “famous” flowers in “Donna’s Garden”. She was very proud of her gardens, and loved to spend time outside. If she was found inside, she would be taking on someone in a game of scrabble. She was often referred to as “Snow White” as her kind, loving and warm spirit attracted any and all animals. She loved them and they loved her back. Her biggest pride and joy was her family, Donna was a proud and caring wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend.
A celebration of Donna’s life will be held at the Granton Community Park, 100 High Street, Granton on Saturday, August 6th from 1 – 5 PM with words of remembrance at 4 PM. Cremation has taken place.
Donations to Alzheimer’s Society Southwest Partners – Middlesex would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
