Passed away at Seaforth Community Hospital on August 27, 2021 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Betty Johnston-Weiss for 23 years. Cherished father of Dale and Audrey Weiss of Winnipeg and Yvonne Leis of London. Adored grandpa of Kyle Weiss; and Michael Leis. Cherished step-father of Kevin Johnston of Seaforth and Mark Johnston of Windsor. Brother-in-law of Stewart Taylor of Kippen, Ruthanne Smale of Hensall, and Lorne and Debbie Taylor of Bayfield. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Elmer and Eleanor (Caskenette) Weiss, and his first wife Audrey (Bell) Weiss.
A public memorial mass will take place at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Seaforth on Saturday, September 11th at 11AM. Due to Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, each person must RSVP for the service, please click “Register Now” below to register. If you are unable to attend the service in person the family invites you to join with them from the comfort of your home. Stream the service live by visiting www.facebook.com/haskettfh. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home, Seaforth (519-527-1390).
In lieu of flowers donations to the Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation or St. James Roman Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
Ron was Always such a family presence for the Caskanette family!
