WARD: Lorne of Seaforth

Lorne Kenneth Ward, passed away peacefully, at University Hospital, London, on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at the age of 70. Lorne was a family man who loved his family and worked hard to support and care for them. Lorne’s jovial spirit inspired smiles and laughter in all who were blessed to share life with him. Over the years, the strength and determination Lorne demonstrated throughout his health challenges is to be admired.
Lorne will be lovingly remembered by his wife Brenda (née Eaton) whom he married 50 years ago, and their children Sherri and Jim Klassen, Trevor Ward and Murray Ward. Memories of a much loved grandpa remain with grandchildren Cody, Tyler, Jenna, Kevin, David, Michelle, Ivan, Autumn, Rory, River and great grandson Jaxson. Left to reminisce days gone by are siblings and siblings-in-law Ruth Arsenault, Lyle and Pat Ward, Joe McLaughlin, Dianna Ward, Wendy Ward, Larry and Cathy Eaton, Keith and Joan Eaton, Eric and Olive Eaton, Brian and Aileen Manuel and Joan Eaton. Lorne is predeceased by his parents James and Laura (née Savage)Ward, siblings and siblings-in-laws Ed Arsenault, Helen McLaughlin, Erwin Ward, Neil Ward, Wayne Ward and Glen Eaton.
Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth. Honouring Lorne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Lorne will be missed but please remember him with a smile and brighten someone’s day by making them laugh – that was Lorne’s way.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
