VANDERWAL: Peter of London

Gone to be with Jesus.  At LHSC-University Hospital, London on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, of London in his 84th year.  Dear husband of Marta (Spaans) Vanderwal for 61 years.  Dear father of Teresa Biggins of Vienna, Illinois, and Miriam and Paul Traher of Birr.  Dear grandfather of J.P. and Holly; Annalisa and Cord, Kristopher and Stormey, Jonathan and Nicole; Jocelyn, Christine, and Jamie; and great-grandfather of Paul, Piper, Parker, Isaac, Reed, Jocelyn, Levi, and Tyler.  Peter’s greatest joy was ministering to others, especially at The Ark Aid Street Mission.

A Celebration of his Life Service will be held at the Open Door Christian Fellowship, 940 Dundas Street East, London on Sunday, May 15th at 3 PM.  Private interment Birr Anglican Cemetery, Middlesex Centre.

Donations to the Ark Aid Street Mission, or Open Door Christian Fellowship would be appreciated by the family.

    Peter was loved by many at the Ark Aid Mission because he never tired of sharing what God had done for him and what he could do for others. No one else quite like him here. We will miss him.

Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
