After a courageous fight with Menkes Syndrome, peacefully at his home, on Friday, September 1st, 2017 in his 3rd year. Loving son of Steve and Jaclyn (Boere) Vandenbussche of Shipka. Cherished brother of Brodie and Levi. Dear grandson of Rick and Marilyn Vandenbussche of Kirkton and Jim and Sue Boere of Grand Bend and great-grandson of Mary Brintnell of Exeter, Theresa Soetemans of Strathroy and John and Mary Boere of Strathroy. Dear nephew of Dave and Stephanie Vandenbussche, Dave and Gill Boere, Michelle Boere and Dennis Jacob, and Brad and Christine Boere. Loved cousin of Carson and Wesley Vandenbussche. Predeceased by great-grandparents Andre and Marie Louise Vandenbussche, Jack Brintnell, and Victor Soetemans. Bentley was never one to complain, and will always be remembered for his love for lights, sparkles, and head massages.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William St., Exeter (1 street west of Main) on Monday, September 4 from 2-5 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 69219 Bronson Line, South Huron (Mount Carmel) on Tuesday, September 5 at 11 AM. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Donations to the Ronald McDonald House would be appreciated by the family.
