    Teo, Gary, and families:
I remember when the three of you worked up here with my Dad and I was just a little gaffer and you boys went on to different things. But, Cecil stayed. We worked together for 40 + years picking stones, baling hay, and having all kinds of fun. It truly pains me that I couldn’t be there at this time. But, I’m in the hospital getting my own health checked out. I have not seen Cecil since before Christmas. I will truly miss him.
Take care and remember all of the fond memories of Cecil,
    Billy-Joe and Denise Rowcliffe

We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the Van Steeg Family at this time for the loss of their beloved brother and uncle, Cecil. My Dad, Bill, hired Cecil to work on the farm which he did for many, many years. Cecil was a good and faithful servant. He shall be missed here on earth but welcomed in heaven. Whenever I think of Uncle Cil, I think of the times he would take us in his truck to Tim Horton’s for a donut. He thought it was really special to take us out when we came to visit and his genuine kindness is what I remember most about him. He will be missed.

    Dear Family,
We have known Cecil for many years. He was always interested in what we were doing at the farm, and conversations with him were easy. Sometimes he would remind us that we should chat more often. He loved his truck and took pride in the independance that it allowed him to maintain. It was a sad day when he could no longer drive. He will be missed by your family and those people with whom he has formed friendships over his many years at the Villa. To all of you we extend our sympathy. Cecil was a Special Brother, and a loved Uncle. Blessings
    Lorne & Margaret
