At Earl’s Court Village, London on Sunday, September 11, 2016 of Lucan in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Jacobus (Jac) Van Geel (2008). Dear step-mother of Catherine Van Bussel, Frank and Bridgette Van Geel, Pete Van Geel and Pat MacDonald, Andy Van Geel and Gloria Hodgins and Walda and Gary Barker all of Lucan, John Van Geel and Joe Eagleson of Poplar Hill, Nancy and Bob Flanigan of Ilderton, Mary and Harold McAdam of Allenford, Jack Van Geel of Forest, Keith Van Geel of Ingersoll, Lois Van Geel of London and Mary Van Geel of Lucan. Also survived by 31 grandchildren, and 48 great-grandchildren. Also remembered by the De Koning family and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by stepsons Carl and George Van Geel, son-in-law Chris Van Bussel, daughter-in-law Joyce Van Geel, granddaughter Jan Elaine Barker.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Prayers will be said in the funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 3:45 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, Lucan on Wednesday, September 14th at 11 AM with Father Ross Bartley presiding. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery.
