At Wildwood Care Centre, St. Marys on Thursday, April 12, 2012 formerly of Lucan in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Albert Deblock (1988). Dear mother of Jacki and Bob Stewart of Carlisle, Rick and Carnie DeBlock of Lucan and Vicki and Tom Davis of Ilderton. Dear grandmother of Kathy; Lindsey and Bud, Brandon and Jenn; Chad and Tammy; and great-grandmother of Quinten, Brody, Carrissa, Constance and Makayla.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Friday 2-4 and 7-9PM where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 14th at 11AM. Interment Birr United Cemetery, Middlesex Centre.
Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Jackie, Bob and Katherine, Vicky, Tom & family, Rick and Carnie & family we are thinking of you at this time of sorrow.
Val, will be sadly missed. The moment I met her we instantly hit it off. I looked so forward to seeing her every week. We would take her to get her hair done, or simply pay her a visit and stay with her awhile. Our Thursday afternoons, will never be the same. Val, also has a spot in a special young girl’s heart, which will remain forever. It is also on her behalf, that I send this message of condolance. Our thoughts are with you.
Having lived as neighbours with your family for many years, I am greatly saddened by your loss. I have many fond memories of times I spent at the family farm and have often thought of your mother when I go visit my parents who still live down the road from the farm. My hearts go out to you all.
So sorry to hear of Aunt Valmai’s passing. She was the original “Iron Lady”, always likable, tough, and hard working. I have fond memories of her at the farm where she had a wry sense of humor and the most wonderful fish tank. Take care Jacki, Rick and Vicki.

Looking at these great pictures certainly brought back pleasant memories of both your parents and looking at your Dad – remembering him being Santa Claus and your others always being cheery.
