Peacefully, at Peoplecare Oakcrossing Nursing Home, London on Monday, November 29, 2010, Una Kathleen Loft formerly of Ilderton at the age of 84. Beloved daughter of the late Berrell (1971) and Neva (Haskett) (1989) Loft. Dearest sister of Ruth Loft of London, Clarke and Doris Loft of Ilderton and Mary and Dan Eadie of Ayr. Loved aunt of Karen and Gerald Zavitz, Ann and Todd Charlton, Beth Eadie and Sarah and Derek Houle. Great aunt of Scott and Cori Charlton and Kate and Olivia Houle. Special thank you to all the staff at Highview and Peoplecare.
A private service will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Tuesday, November 30th with Rev. Bill McAuslan officiating. Interment Littlewood Cemetery.
Donations to the Alzheimer Society or Littlewood Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.

I was saddened to hear of Una’s passing. Ruth and Una were great friends of my parents, Ed and Ruth Boland. They attended several functions with my parents and visited at their respective homes on several occassions. I remember meeting Ruth and Una. My parents both held the Loft family in high regard. God wiling, the three who have passed are having a wonderful visit in Heaven right now.

Ruth: I was shocked and saddened to read of Una’ death in the newspaper. I so well remember the hard-fought curling games and the art seminars we attended at the same time and the lovely landscape around your home with the daffodils merrily blooming.
