Dear family
Receive our deepest sympathy for your loss. We had known Peter for a long time. I (John)worked with him for a while at Thompsons and Greta would converse with him in his native (Friesian)tongue whenever she met him. I used to visit him from time to time at the Villa and always ended with a word from Scripture and prayer. That privilege had to be abandoned due to the covid. May the Lord be close to you all during these difficult days and comfort you in the knowledge that Peter is with the Lord, which is far better.
Blessings upon you all,
John & Greta Zwaan

To all the Toonstra family I want to send my condolences. I had the pleasure of looking after your Dad for many years. His smile would light up the room when I would walk in with a cup of coffee and a couple of cookies. He would say to me you didn’t have to do that. Also his love for bananas. Even before he left I knew he would enjoy that so made sure one was available. I am thinking of you all.
