I have so many wonderful memories of my Great Aunt Marion. I will never forget her big hugs, great laugh and so many of the wonderful traits of my Grandma Dorothy. We lost Grandma many years ago but seeing Aunt Marion made me feel like I was with Grandma again. My deepest sympathy to the Nixon and Thompson families as you say good-bye to a beautiful soul that will be drearly missed.
To Marion’s family and the “Nixon” family:
Please accept our sincerest sympathy at this time. What a shock it was when we heard the news this morning. I can not imagine what it was like when you heard this tragic news. Marion was a delightful person. She was always smiling and laughing. She had a most sincere heart of gold. She always spoke well of everyone, always passed on compliments to me when I was playing the piano, and always enjoyed a good laugh. Her voice was so much like Doris Mills that every time we heard her, we thought of not only her, but Doris as well, who is my husband Ray’s aunt too. Marion enjoyed many outings with her sisters, and many church suppers, church services, luncheons and fun with her good friends Verna and Cheryl. The threesome sat at many of our combined services, ate many of our meals at Centralia suppers, enjoyed the music at church services and had a good outlook on life in general. Marion will be missed greatly by many, many people, as well as her family. Ray and I are thinking about your family and are praying for you. God Bless.
To all the Thompson Family,

My heart goes out to all of you. Aunt Marion made everyone she met feel loved. I remember going for supper with our family when we were younger. What a wonderful cook! I also remember that there wasn’t a television and Aunt Marion was so creative at finding things for us to do. My favourite memory is when Colleen, Francie and I spend hours embroidering on paper napkins! She will be missed by so many.

Dear Keith, Lynda, Francie, Cliff, Don, Ray and all your families…Larry and I are so saddened at the sudden loss of Aunt Marion and extend our love and sympathy to you all. The slide show of pictures epitomize who she was and what was most important to her…and that was her family. She was so proud of each and every one of you and loved you all so much! Her smile and laugh will be our favourite memory…she was a beautiful lady inside and out! May it give you some comfort to know that she is now re-united with your Dad and other family members gone before. Rest assured she would be welcomed with open arms!
