Carol passed away at peacefully at her home on Friday, April 12, 2024 of Seaforth at the age of 73.
“I’ve come full circle, and it’s been quite the roller coaster ride. I grew up in Montreal in the best of times in a loving, boisterous family with supportive parents, and a street full of playmates. I was a drummer in high school when girls weren’t drummers, I was a flight attendant when it was a glamourous profession & we felt like rock stars strutting through the terminals, 25 years as an executive recruiter in a female owned company, making lifelong friends, and a wonderful retirement with my loving husband David, travelling, exploring our artistic sides, making a beautiful home, surrounded by many friends who are like family and are kindred spirits and my gorgeous, boisterous, funny siblings. There were some tough times that were overcome, but overall, a charmed life. I hope I brought some laughter into your lives, because it’s a world fraught with sadness & destruction.”
Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
Donations to Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
“Be kind to yourself and others, laugh, dance, love, eat good food, hug often. I’ll see you on the other side with a glass of champagne held high.”

I’m blessed to have had the opportunity to call her my friend. She will be deeply missed. Everytime I bake my no knead bread I will remember how she taught me to make it.
Dave, Dan, Olga and all of Carol’s family and friends – please accept my sincere sympathy. So sudden, so sad, but in her message Carol has let us know of her enjoyment of a life well lived. Cheers to the champagne Carol!
Carol has left us with such beautiful memories, her artistic style, her flair for decorating, her contagious laugh , and that smile. It’s been my privilege to have known her and she will be remembered.
Our sincere sympathy to Dave and all of Carol’s family. She lived a wonderful, exciting life and brought that joie de vivre to our little community in Seaforth. She was an amazing hostess like no other. She will be missed.
Carol was a unique person. When life changes she could change with it. She will be greatly missed.
She had it her way.

We shared a love of music. We met at beginner band in Stratford about 7 years ago. We were both learning clarinet again. What a good time it was . We kept in touch and we always shared laughs. That is what I will remember her for. Her laughs, big smile and her positive look on life.
Dave and family, we are so so sorry to hear of Carols passing, our deepest condolences to all. She was a very vibrant, happy person, and you were a fun couple to get together with, always great laughs.

To my cousins and Carol’s husband, I am so sorry for your loss. I didn’t have the chance to know her much, but I know that Carol was a wonderful person and that you’ll all miss her very much.
My deepest condolences to David and Carol’s family. We met as flight attendants at Air Canada. She was a joy to work with,we laughed a lot. I will never forget Carol and the good times we had. R.I.P. my friend.
David I am so very sorry for the huge whole that will be left in your life and your heart. I met Carol when we both worked at Express Personnel and considered her a mentor, then a friend. I regret that we lost touch (except for Facebook) but thought of her often and missed her much. She was the definition of “vivacious “. Rest in peace, lovely lady.

Carol…your journey continues…in the withwonderful memories of those you touched her. Myself I remember stuttering to ask Carol for a date at the Rosemount Boys’ Club…weekly dance.
Carol and I were classmates in high school. She was bright and fun to be around.

Carol was a wonderful person. So full of life, compassionate about others, witty and very creative. She will be missed by many people that crossed her path. We will miss her and we are glad that we had the opportunity know her.
