Peacefully into the arms of Jesus, on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall, at the age of 100. Beloved wife of the late Asa Steckle (1996). Dearly loved mother of Arnold and Nelly Steckle of Stanley Township, Evelyn and Harv Vincent of Shipka, Rhoda and Steve Sinasac of Binbrook, and Sim Steckle of Queensway. Adored grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Lillian is survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter Doris Sinasac (2019), sons Gerald (1999) and his wife Marjorie (2015), and Philip (2018), sister Arletta and brothers Emerson, Harold, and Lorne.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 49 Goshen Street North, ZURICH on Sunday evening from 5 – 8 PM. The funeral service will be held at Kingsfield Zurich Mennonite Church, 37818 Zurich Hensall Road, Zurich on Monday, November 25th at 11 AM with Pastor Ryan Jantzi officiating. Interment Kingsfield Zurich Mennonite Cemetery.
