Suddenly as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Friday, November 30, 2018 of St. Pauls and formerly of Huron Park at the age of 26. Loving spouse of Alisha Pennington. Proud father of Ivy Smith. Loving son of Gerald Smith of Huron Park and Shannon Westlake – Romphf of Exeter. Dear brother of P. Quintin Smith of Huron Park, Chelsey Romphf of Port Franks, and Shawn Romphf of Port Franks. Dear grandson of Floyd Westlake of Exeter and Mary Westlake of Hensall, Joan Smith of Huron Park and the late Harold Smith (1996). Loving nephew of Dan and Cheyenne (Westlake) McClinchey of Hensall and cousin of Cloe and Kyle. Lovingly remembered by Todd Overholt of St. Pauls and Jenn Pennington and Pat Williams of Lucan and their family.
Visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, EXETER on Thursday evening from 6-9 PM, where the funeral service will be held on Friday, December 7th at 11 AM. Cremation with a private family interment Bluewater Bronson Line Cemetery, Zurich at a later date.
Donations to a trust fund for Zac’s daughter Ivy would be appreciated by the family (Cheques made payable to Gerald Smith and Alisha Pennington – In Trust).
Please dress casually for Zac’s visitation and funeral service.

We are both so very sorry to hear of Zach’s passing. We met Zach only recently and we were so impressed with the pride he showed in his new baby daughter Ivy. Just last week he was showing us videos of her – he was so proud and so happy, a wonderful young man who will certainly be missed by many. Sincere condolences to the family during this most difficult time; may he rest in peace.
