SKEA: Isabella “Winnie” (Mallen) of Exeter formerly of Hensall

Passed away peacefully at Huron Residential Hospice on November 4, 2021 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late John Findlay Skea for 63 years. Cherished mother of John Skea and Brenda Nunns of Stratford, Dorothy and Brian Maguire of Windsor, and David and Charlotte Skea of Georgetown. Loving grandma to Colin Skea (Kaitlyn Housh), Karen Hoggarth (Derek); Andrew Mason, Nicole Maguire (Gregory Lancaster), Brittany Maguire (Phil Cacace); Rosemary Skea, Kevin Skea, and Kerianne Skea. Great-grandma to Kaden, Wilder, Rowan, Julianne, Madelynn, Findlay, Ainslie, and Zayn. Fondly remembered Lynn Skea, and Renee Skea. Predeceased by her brother Robert Mallen.
A public memorial service will be held at the Hensall Community Church, 76 King St. Hensall, on Friday, November 12th at 11 AM. Due to Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, each person must RSVP for the service, please click “Register Now” below to register. It is also asked that due to Provincial COVID-19 proof of vaccination restrictions, each person must show proof that they are fully vaccinated to attend the service. Proof of vaccination can be attained by visiting covid19.ontariohealth.ca. If you are unable to attend the service in person the family invites you to join with them from the comfort of your home. Sending my condolences to all the Skea family. I had the pleasure of helping to look after your Mom these past few years. I will always have fond memories. Every morning I would go in and lightly touch her for her to wake and she always had a smile on her face.

Winnie was a great lady And I am going to miss playing games on the computer with her she would always say she’s would get 9out of 10 and computer would say no one will ever get 10 out of 10 unless you where a genius. To all of those who loved Winnie, sending you all lots of hugs. Winnie and Scottie were at our wedding,as John was our best man. Your mum was such a wonderful soul. I will always remember the two of them in their Legion outfits at Remembrance Day Services. Condolences to all of you.
