I have so many memories of Aunt Bernice when she and Uncle Ship would open their home to Bob and I in the summer.
Their was so much love in your home it flowed over to Bob and I . It was like we had a “second mom” and I have never forgotten my “two sisters.” We are not young any more but I still have the sound of your Mom’s voice when she would call us in for milk and cookies or supper or “Bob and Howie you are going to fall out of that tree or 9 day pickles are ready.”
Our 2nd mom was “very special” and the memory of her is permanently scribed in my mind.
Thank you for sharing her with Bob and I.
Nancy, Patsy, and David
Please accept my condolences at this time of sorrow. It’s fitting to know that Uncle Shipley was waiting for her with open arms. I am not able to attend the service, but my thoughts will be with you and your families.
