My condolences to Dianne and the Shapton and Wilson extended family on this shocking news. I’ll remember all the laughs we shared over the years when we worked on Wayne’s projects.. Wayne always put a smile on everyone’s face. He was a great person and loved his family. So sorry!

Dear Shapton Family,
I was fortunate to have a nice visit with Wayne at the lunch after Grant Jones funeral. We chatted about Houdini, the Blk Angus bull he raised & sold to Grant. Grant loaned the bull to us/2014, this yrs. calves on our farm were a result of Wayne & Grant’s love for farming, good cattle & kindness to others.
Joanne & I will think of “them” each time we feed Houdini & watch the calves graze in the fields at Hensall.
We’ve lost another wonderful family man, farmer and cattleman far too soon in life.

I hadn’t seen Wayne in many years but when I was working in Hensall he stopped in at where I worked and we caught up and his was a very proud husband and father. Its hard when someone leaves us but be assured that this angel has a special job waiting for him above and that he will be watching down on you and when you look up in the sky the brightest star you see will be his twinkle letting you know he is still with you not here on earth but in spirit from above
