Peacefully on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy, Theodorus (Theo) Hubertus Sentjens, formerly of Ilderton in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Maria Catharina (Corsten) for 63 years. Beloved father of John (Alex), Helen Legg (Ed), William (Donna), Matthew, Josie, and Mary Greeno (Len). Proud grandfather of his ten grandchildren Elric (Michelle), Ariel, Dan (Krista), Ian, Nathan, Katherine (James), Nicholas, James, Laura, and Lindsey. Proud great-grandfather of Anora, Kynan, Zoe and Theo. Survived, in the Netherlands, by his sisters Toos and Tina and his brother Jo. Predeceased by six brothers. The family would like to thank the kind and caring staff of Strathmere Lodge.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Wednesday, April 25th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Prayers will be said in the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon at 2 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Church, 32922 Richmond Street, Lucan on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 11 AM with Father Ross Bartley presiding. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery, Lucan.
Donations in Theo’s memory in lieu of flowers can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

I read the obituary too late to be able to take Dad (Harry Slegers) to the visitation or funeral. I told him today and he would have liked to go.
I enjoyed visiting with you and Theo at Strathmere Lodge a couple times. I had ordered a book about the Kenilworth Catholic Church through the library where I work. Dad and I delivered the book and picked it up. Theo was very happy to have the book and to read it. He also enjoyed sharing stories with Dad on those two visits.
