Peacefully surrounded by his family at University Hospital, London, Ontario on Thursday, May 19, 2022 of Lucan, Ontario and formerly of Langley B.C, Alaska, Elliott Lake, and Hanmer at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Diana for over 51 years. Cherished and adored father of Brian and Kelli, Sean and Jen, and Darren. Loving papa of Brady, Haley and Tyson. Dear brother of Pierrette (Jean-Guy), Francoise (Willard), Andy (Rejeanne), Oliver, Maurice (Yvonne), and Julie. Fondly remembered by Richard and Brigitte several nieces, nephews and cousins. Missed by friends Justin and Marilyn Pickering. Predeceased by parents Maria (Meconse) and Xavier Scott.
John was passionate about golfing and fishing with his family. His work took him all over the world where he was admired and respected by many. He loved spending time with his family, adored his grandchildren, and Kelli’s butter tarts. He will be missed by all who knew him.
In keeping with John’s wishes cremation has taken place. Donations to LHSF – Clinical Neurosciences Program or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
