Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Craigwiel Gardens, Ailsa Craig on Sunday, December 17, 2023 of RR 3 Ailsa Craig at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Donald J. Scott (2009). Dear mother of Ron and Merna Scott, and Lynda and Clayton Charbonneau. Cherished grandma of Diane Walsh, Marianne Scott, Leanne Smith (Jason); Calvin Charbonneau, and Sarah Gillard (Jim) and great-grandma of Dylan, and Brayden Walsh, Deacon, and Evan Smith; Lily, Oliver, and Audrey Gillard. Loving sister-in-law of Alan Scott. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Kay Haggar, sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Ab Gilmour and Don’s siblings and their spouses; Ruth and Alan Hill, Liz Scott, and Doug and Ann Scott.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN on Thursday, December 21st from 10 – 11 AM, where Edythe’s funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM. Interment St. Marys Anglican Cemetery, Brinsley. Wearing masks would be greatly appreciated.

What a wonderful long life Edythe lived, I was lucky enough to be her hairdresser every Friday, as Rev Steve mentioned through the years. When you have weekly customers for many years they become family, and were always kept up to date on what the family was doing, I missed that when I quite doing hair .
Also was lucky to do her Sister Alice and her Mother Kay’s hair every week as well, I have very fond memories of them all, and like to picture then all together once again. I was glad to be able to do her hair one last time for her now, hope you all were pleased, sad right around Christmas but also hard to say that final farewell. My deepest sympathy to each one of you.I have lots of great memory’s of our times spent together during hairdos.
