Passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, September 5, 2020 of Stratford, at the age of 80. Beloved partner of the late Christine Taggart and Gloria Schweitzer. Cherished father of Terry of Seaforth and Kelly and Gayle of Guelph. Ray will be missed by his numerous grandchildren. Dear brother of Gordon Schweitzer of Stratford. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Margaret Schweitzer, daughters, Sherry Lynn, and Kim Margo, and sister-in-law Beverly Schweitzer.
Ray thanks all AA members for their support over the years in his continuous sobriety of 18 630 days, between September 3, 1969 – September 5, 2020.
Keeping with Ray’s request, cremation has taken place there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment Maitlandbank Cemetery, Seaforth.
Donations to Feline Friends Network, Stratford would be appreciated by the family.

We are so sorry to hear of Ray’s passing. Lloyd and Ray spent a lot of time over coffee first at Donuts and More and then at Tim Hortons whether it be Goderich, Clinton or Seaforth. We had not got for a visit this year since getting back from Florida with the covid threats but had thought of him often. Ray was a very good guy and will be missed by many.
