Suddenly, at LHSC-Victoria Hospital, London, on Sunday, September 7, 2014, of Lucan and formerly of Stratford, in his 51st year. Beloved husband of Cindy (Cayley) Schkawritka. Dear father of Luke and Grace at home and Tara of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Dear son of Rose Shachtay and the late Stephan Schkawritka, and son-in-law of Sharon and Roy Cayley of RR 3 Embro. Dear brother of Linda and Tom Mardynalka, Sonya and Ed Nightingale, and Bob and Ali Schkawritka all of Manitoba, Melody Simpson of Toronto; and brother-in-law of Joanne and Bruce Rose of Gadshill, Jeanette and Ronny Dale of Stratford, and Sheri and Ken Bernier of Stratford. Ron will be missed by several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, 32922 Richmond Street, Lucan on Friday, September 12th at 11 AM with Father Dariusz Lewandowski, C.S.M.A. presiding. Cremation has taken place. A reception will be held at the Lucan Community Centre following the Funeral Mass.
Donations to a trust fund for Luke and Grace (cheques made payable to Cindy Schkawritka-In Trust) or the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.
