RUNDLE: Marlene Margaret (Eagleson) of RR 3 Exeter

Marlene Margaret Eagleson, the daughter of Hugh and Velma Eagleson, born on April 11, 1939. Marlene “mom”, “granny” Rundle passed away peacefully at South Huron Hospital, Exeter with her family by her side, on Thursday, August 19, 2021 of RR 3 Exeter at the age of 82. Married and farming partner to Allan Rundle for 59 years. Best mom ever to Scott Rundle and his partner Bonnie Baynham, and Lisa Rundle. Adored granny to the sparkle in her life, Megan. Dear sister of Sharon Latta of Grand Bend. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Hugh and Velma Eagleson, and her brother-in-law Ron Latta.

“Her church was nature, she lived what she loved”

A private family memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 25th at 11 AM. Cremation with interment Exeter Cemetery.     It has been almost 30 years since I lived at RR3 Exeter but floods of memories washed over me when I heard of Marlene’s passing.     So many wonderful memories of Aunt Marlene and her skills and attitudes to life that made her a marvel to her many nieces and nephews. We’ve all been blessed to share life with your family. Our hearts and prayers are with you.

    So sorry to hear of Marlene’s passing. These past few days have brought tears but also many happy memories. I guess we were lucky to be able to have her as a cousin and a Aunt. Hugs to all of you.

Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
