Peacefully and surrounded by family at LHSC University Hospital on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the age of 81. Loving father of Teri Lynne Rummell of Hensall, and Scott and Michelle Rummell of Lucan. Dear grandfather of Kelsey and Matt Straatman of Lucan, and Taylor Rummell and Dan Bader of Mitchell. Soon to be great-grandfather of baby Straatman (arriving in May 2022). Fondly remembered by Diane (Hickson) Rummell of Huron Park. Dear brother of Martha Morrison of Arizona, and Lynne Rummell of Kettle Point. Carl will be sadly missed by the Hickson family and his very good friend Pauline Steele. Predeceased by his sister Joyce Van Geel and brother Jim Rummell.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM. Those attending are kindly asked to register. Please click “Register Now” below to register.
A private graveside service will be held at St. James Cemetery.
If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
