Suddenly at home on Thursday July 18, 2002 Roy Ian Barton of Ballymote in his 49th year. Beloved husband of Marjorie (Smibert). Dear father of Michael and Jason. Brother of Penny (Bob) Altenburg of Prospect Hill, Anna Lee (Lawney) Starr of Angus, Gerald Barton of Barrie and Nancy Hoffman of Guelph. Son-in-law of Dick and Ivah Smibert of RR 3 Ilderton and brother-in-law of Marian Smibert  of RR 3 Ilderton and Barbara Barton of Uxbridge. Predeceased by his parents John  (1984) and Shirley (1999), brother Wayne (1999) and sister Shirley Beth (1959). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Friday 2-4 and 7-9PM where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 20th at 11AM with Mr. Peter Carberry officiating. Interment Siloam Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
