Denise, Perry and I were very saddened to hear the loss of your husband and best friend. We were hopeful for a recovery as, like many have said, he was so very young and had so much to live for. As you said though, he has no more pain. We have great memories of BJ. One especially good one was the helping hand and generous heart given to our family when Perry’s father passed away. BJ was first in line to help with the harvest the day of the funeral. Perry’s memories of that are cherished. We are thinking and praying for you and your family during this most difficult time.
Perry and Michelle Sereda

What sad news–our sincere sympathy to Joanne and family
With profound sadness, sorrow and a touch of surprise, do we learn of Billy-Joe’s untimely death. We extend our sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the entire Rowcliffe family at this most difficult and sorrowful time – a time understandably made more painful by BJ’s relative youth, and occurring in the shadow of grief cast by the still recent death of William B. They both were singular and colourful individualists, and their many circles of friends and aquaintences are much diminished in their absence. Our warm thoughts and prayers for grace and strength.
Denise and family,
So sorry to hear about BJ. There isn’t a time that I can remember that he didn’t have a smile on that face!!! You are in our thoughts!!

Joanne and Tim, so sorry to hear of Billy Joe’s passing, please accept my sincere condolences.
I had BJ as a bus driver during school years, and he was always so full of cheer, never seen him without a smile… Our thoughts and prayers to the Rowcliffe family. He will be missed by many
SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.WE WILL NEVER FORGET HIS HUMOUR AND SMILE.
So terribly sorry to hear of B.J.’s passing. We have been remembering things from times gone by. I particularly have been thinking of our visit to Brazil in early 1986. B.J. said,” Lets go on a trip, but not Florida, someplace else.” I agreed, and that’s how we wound up in a canoe on the Amazon. I never would have seen it had it not been for him. Although jobs and families took up a lot of our time since, it was always a delight when we had a conversation or got together for an event. Our thoughts are with the entire family during these difficult days.
Joanne, our sincere sympathy to you and family. We have fond memories of Billy Joe, his visits and especially when he brought our cherished family pet “Freckles” to us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Denise, Bob & Joanne,
You are in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time. May BJ’s memory live within your hearts forever.
Pete & Janet
We are very saddened to hear of BJ’s passing. He was a great bus driver for Usborne and made each one of the kids feel special with a greeting as they got on, great treats and roses for the girls on Valentine’s Day. Even after they graduated, BJ always asked about the kids and was truly interested in them. You will be missed BJ, rest in peace.
Please accept our heartfelt condolences. The Rowcliffe family has such a special place in our hearts and we mourn the far-too-early loss of Billy-Joe. Our thoughts are with you all.
Nancy and Peter Case.
Denise- our sympathies to you in the loss of BJ- we just returned from holiday and unfortunately were not available for his service- take memories with you and keep them in your heart- they will last forever- he will be missed
My sincere condolences to all of BJ’s family. He was never without a smile at Murphy’s and always had time to stop and chat. He’s gone to join his fellow drivers who also passed on too soon. Keep and treasure your memories of him and the hurt will ease in time. Keeping you all in my prayers.
Joanne, Tim and family
Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. So sorry to hear of the news. We are in disbelief of what had happened. Our deepest and heartfelt sympathy goes out to your families and to Denise. So sad to see you go B.J.
Denise, Joanne & Tim: Will miss BJ’s words of wisdom – always had time to talk when we saw him…another one too young to be taken from us.
Only just heard of BJ’s passing. When I moved to Hensall back in 1988, he took me under his wing and introduced me to his friends, farming, etc. One night he and I met my future wife at Lester’s. He was a good friend.
Just recently heard of B.J.’s passing and sorry to hear of your loss. He was a good ‘ol boy and always made me feel at home when we visited the farm in our younger years. May your memories of B.J. give you comfort in the future.
