ROSS: Mary (Millie) (Mombourquette) and Donald (Don) of Exeter

Peacefully and surrounded by their family after 62 years of marriage passed away only hours apart. Millie on Sunday, June 24th, 2018 and Don on Monday, June 25th, 2018. Loving parents of Scott and Debley Ross of Vernon BC, Chuck and Pam Ross of Exeter, Carol and John Coleman of Kippen, Karen and Ed House of Exeter, Don and Annette Ross of Poplar Hill, and Melissa and Wayne Tattrie of Halifax. Dear grandparents of Sean, Shannon; Elisha and Jeremy, Brandon and Hannah; Nicole and Tyler, Ashley and Sean; Brad and Rebecca, Mike, Adam; Josh and JJ, Stevie and Jessi, Cass and Kal, Valentina and Nate, and Atanda. Proud great-grandparents of Jackson, Lily, Olive, Clark, Evelyn and Irie. They will be sadly missed by Millie’s family Ray and Irene, Jeannie, Ron and Pat and Marlene Mombourquette and Bernie Wilson all of Nova Scotia and Don’s family Carol Brown and George and Louise Ross all of Exeter and their several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by their daughter Anne (1962), Millie’s siblings Shirley Wilson, Harry, Johnny, Roy, Gerry Mombourquette, and their sister-in-law Ellen Mombourquette.

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter on Wednesday afternoon from 4-7 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Precious Blood Church, 200 Sanders Street West, Exeter on Thursday, June 28th at 11 AM with Father Len Desjardins presiding. Cremation with family interment at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, London. Prayers will be said in the funeral home Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM.

Donations to SHHF – Jessica’s House, Make-A-Wish or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

It was an honour to know such a caring and happy couple who shared some funny stories from their lives. They humored me when I told my jokes and made my funny quips.     I met your parents when they lived at Towerview in Exeter. They came to use ONE CARE services and attend my programs that were held in the building. Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
