Passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Friday, December 11, 2020 formerly of Hensall, at the age of 76. Beloved wife of the late Don Reid (2013). Cherished mother of Deborah and Bob Lawrence, and Dan and Wendy Reid all of Hensall. Proud grandmother of Alicia and Jason Schweitzer of Goderich, Erik Lawrence of Calgary, Amber Reid and Rob Parsons of Watford, Melissa Reid, and Katelyn Reid both of Hensall Adored great-grandmother of Jamen, and Abel Schweitzer of Goderich. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Doris Simpson of Exeter, Jean and Peter Black of St. Marys, Marg Talbot of Bayfield, Dianne Sims, and Grant Hooper both of Exeter. Predeceased by her sister Marg Triebner, and brothers-in-law Fleming Simpson, Bob Talbot, and Wes Sims.
A private family funeral service will be held on Monday, December 14th at 11 AM. Cremation to follow with interment at the Exeter Cemetery, at a later date. I will cherish the memories of all us together the most, especially the many Christmas times in Hensall at her home. She was a hard worker and always told it like it was, but that was her and I’ll never forget her. Time will heal but memories are golden.
