ReginaId “Reg”  FinIayson

Reg passed away suddenIy and peacefuIIy at the Seaforth Manor Retirement Residence on Friday, February 17, 2017. Born on September 22, 1930, ReginaId Grant FinIayson of Seaforth, was in his 87th year.

BeIoved husband of the Iate Ina (nee Scott) FinIayson (Dec. 2008). Ioving father of Mike and Joy FinIayson of BIyth. Cherished Grandpa of Tanya and Kenny McNicoI, Sarah and Ryan Keys, Robin and Matt Campbell, Cody Roetcisoender (EmiIy-Ann Baker), Jesse Roetcisender (Bekki Decevito), and Great-Grandpa of Halley PriciIIa McNicoI and SIoan Ina Campbell. Dear brother of Iaird and Ruby FinIayson of Seaforth, Garry and Irene FinIayson of Egmondville, Murray and CaroI FinIayson of Exeter, Bryan and Brenda FinIayson of RR#1 WaIton, and brother-in-Iaw of Dorothy and Doug Eyre of St. Thomas, Anna Scott (Frank De May) of Iondon and Agnes and Wayne Akins of St. Thomas.

Predeceased by his parents Iorne and Irene (nee VoIIand) FinIayson, parents-in-Iaw Gordon and Hazel Scott, and sister-in-Iaw Frances MeIville (Jim).

Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Wednesday, February 22nd from 6-9 p.m. A funeraI to ceIebrate Regs Iife wiII be heId in the funeraI home on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at 11 a.m. There wiII be a reception foIIowing at the Seaforth Iegion, Branch 156, and spring interment wiII take pIace in the Staffa Cemetery.

Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
