I remember when I met Wayne for the first time I was pretty nervous. After all I was dating his daughter and I was told he used to lift weights quite a bit. But thankfully that night he didn’t threaten me and made me feel at ease. He eventually became my father in-law and I look back on my time with him with great fondness. He would always like to throw playful jabs my way. The last time I saw him he was giving me a hard time for my crooked lines from my lawnmower in the grass. So from now on I will try and do better with my lawn maintenance and I hope he will look down on me with pride. Rest easy Wayne.

Sending our greatest sympathies to all, on the loss of such a wonderful man! Wayne loved life and always had a smile on his face, and a story to share! We had the wonderful opportunity of spending a week with Jamie and Wayne in Arizona when he was finishing his treatments in Scottsdale. We had so much fun and those memories will always stay with us! Love and hugs to everyone. He will be dearly missed!

Dear Jamie, I’m hoping Wayne will hear this message…… The trip home from Arizona had it’s ups & downs, rain, snow, no hydro at hotels…… But Wayne never complained. Actually, when we stopped for food & fuel, we had to tag team to keep up with you & Dale. He was just recently here & it was so nice to see him. The smile, asking ‘what’s new’ & always had a minute to chat. RIP & love to the families. (Dale & Marsha)

It’s been a week since your passing and it’s slowly sinking in that your gone.People asking about you and all the nice comment about you makes me proud.One thing that happen this week is when I had to lift a big rock on a cultivator.I remember the size of the huge rocks you could lift.This rock was small in comparison but asked for your strength and heaved ass that rock up and on.I think you helped me liked you always did.Thanks for everything.To Jamie.Thanks for being a great mate.To the kids.Wayne carried his cross well even when it was heavy like those rocks.He set a great example for life.You will be missed brother.Rest in peace.

This past week while gathering thoughts and reflecting on cherish memories of our dear Wayne a sense of pride that he was a member of our family overcame the tears of loss. Wayne’s uncanny ability to bring a smile to our faces even during tough times was a gift he shared with everyone that came to know him and for that we were greatly blessed. To Jamie and Wayne’s children, many caring thoughts are with you. Behind every ” happening” is the hidden hand of heaven, even so , dear brother, you are greatly missed.

Having difficulty putting into words my thoughts at this time and there is nothing we can say that will make losing Wayne any easier. I fondly remember our many, many late nights plowing a field just trying to get one finished so we could move the equipment to the next one. Until we meet again buddy.
