Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very sad time
To my extended family of Brothers and Sisters… There are no words to express my very sad heart to hear of “Dad’s” passing…. I practically lived at the ranch for 3 years in my young teens and they both welcomed myself and so many more into their home… The warm loving and fun memories built and shared in that house have stayed and will remain with me for always… Now they’re together again.. And that very thought helps ease the great sadness I feel today.. I hope it helps you too… Love to all of you!
My deepest sympathy to all of you. Joe was a great man who always had the time to have a laugh or share a story or some wise words of wisdom. He will be missed by all those who were lucky enough to have had the chance to know him. I’m sure that he and ‘his Rosie’ will be having a cheers to the wonderful legacy they left behind!
Barry and I are thinking of all of you at this very difficult and sad time….when I last saw Joe a couple of months ago at Queensway he talked about his strong Catholic faith, his Rose, his family and of course, his grave illness. Dignity and courage in the face of what was to come…inspirational…
May your many fond memories of wonderful times over the years help sustain you now….
In sympathy, Barry & Judy (Finkbeiner) Johnson

Your dad has left quite an example for future generations to admire. We will remember him for his laugh, hugs, hospitality, humour, faith, and life long lessons of advice. Simply he told us when we got married to “believe in marriage and you will stay married”. It is so hard to lose someone you care and love so deeply. Sometimes there are just no words to make your sadness go away. We hope that with time, and the thought that he is with his beloved Rosie will give you some comfort.
