Passed away peacefully with her family by her side, at Kingsway Lodge, St. Marys on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Arnold Rae (1999) for 71 years. Cherished mother of Daryl and Kathy Rae of Granton, Carol and Dave Ledgley of St. Marys, Diane and Bill Blom of Ottawa, and Paul and Cindy Rae of Lobo. Adored nan of Scott Rae, Adam Rae; Tanner and Madison Blom; and Amy Rae and great-nan of Nathan, Alicia; Jorja, Dalila; and Gibson. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Jeanne McFalls, Doris (Howard) Keays, Lenore (Michael) Moir, Helen (Roy Cadick) (Ron Grasby) Grasby, and Barbara (Allan Bradshaw) (Don Rigney) Rigney and her parents Gordon and Viva (Morrow) McFalls.
Marg was a loving mother, nan, and great-nan. She was always there for her family and will be lovingly remembered for her caring personality. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Kingsway Lodge for the exceptional care and compassion they provided to Margaret over the years.
In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at Medway Cemetery, Middlesex Centre. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Homes, LUCAN (519-227-4211).
Donations to the Alzheimer Society – Huron Perth, or Kingsway Lodge in Margaret’s memory would be appreciated by the family
