Passed away peacefully at Huronlea Home for the Aged, on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the age of 95. Beloved husband of late Velma (Hill) Preszcator (2015) for 68 years. Special friend, dancing and card partner of Theresa Deitrich of Seaforth. Cherished father of the late Jim (2014) and Janice of Varna, Kenneth John “Johnny” (1949), David (2018) and Rose of Stratford, Linda and Larry Dillon of Goderich, Diane and Gary Leonard of Bayfield, and Nancy and Doug Anstett of Seaforth. Adored grandfather of 15, great-grandfather of 28, and great-great-grandfather of 8. Brother of Shirley Truemner (Ted Wright (Elwood Truemner), and brother-in-law of John Hoffmeyer. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings and in-laws Ruby (Aaron) Hodgins, Howard (Jean), Stan (Francis & Shirley), Thelma Ducharme, Helen (Pack Daniels and Gordon Smith), Phyllis (Emery) Pfaff, Doris (Allan) Pfaff, Eveleen (Bob) Jennison, Labelle and (Mervin Webb), and parents N. Maud (MacDonald) and William Preszcator.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street West, SEAFORTH on Tuesday, November 15th from 6 – 8 PM. Registration is required. Please click “Register Now” below, to register. Wearing a mask would be appreciated by the family.
The funeral service will be held the following day on Wednesday, November 16th at 1 PM at funeral home. Wearing a mask would be appreciated by the family. Interment Maitlandbank Cemetery.
Donations to Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation or Egmondville United Church would be appreciated by the family.
