I remember those fun weeks in the summer when we taught swimming lessons together, and your family welcomed me into your home. Your Dad was such a kind and joyful man, and I’m sorry you’ve lost him so soon. All my best wishes to you, your Mom, and your brother. It’s been 30 years, but I still think of you all fondly.

Dear Anne – It was special to be part of the funeral service from home in Toronto today and to hear about Bob’s life, family and interests over so many years. Our times together with the Pincombe family, at Egerton Beach & in London, were such a big part of our growing up. Although our paths haven’t crossed in many years, the Bob we knew was the same Bob many years later – funny, generous, kind & loving. When Nonie was alive, I remember hearing a lot about Paula when she was a little girl. It was so nice to see you and hear your words about your father today Paula.
Our love goes out to all the family – you’ll have many wonderful memories of your husband, father and grandpa.
Much love – Charlie & Sue Pielsticker

Anne and family; Bob was always so welcoming when we joined together at Villages United. He never missed moving out of his pew, with his hand held out and a big smile on his face to greet us. As we got to know Bob through church meetings and activities, euchre parties and our equally shared love of Grandkids and their activities we realized how many things we had in common and how blessed we had been to make your acquaintance; and then you became our neighbours. Thinking of you today and will be sharing celebrating Bob with you but from around the corner. Warm hugs from afar today but will share one with you soon.

    You are all memory now,
    Mine and others.
    Life is done,
    And its a bittersweet gift,
This memory of you I treasure.

    On our north driveway,
You stopped by with geographics in tow.
    Coming to share your love
Of facts and possibilities we might all know.
You expanded my world when I was young.
Brought me the world you knew was waiting,
For you, like I now know, the value of memory of what is passed.
The knowledge of what may be coming.
And the hope and joy you brought,
Your life but not memory now abating.

    In memoriam for you
    Bob,
From one of many lives you touched
