Joyce and Family, Our thoughts and Prayers are with you all for your loss. Cecil will be a loss to all of us who have known him. It was always a joy when we got together. I am so glad our Thompson family decided to get together years ago and still do. Although there is getting less of us each year, we would have missed a lot of good times and friends. It is going to be another of life’s adjustments whether we like it or not. This includes you, Joe losing a father-in-law who you had, to share farming things with, and Marion loosing your last sibling.

To the Family of Cecil,
I had the opportunity to work along Cecil a few harvest nights when he would come and help out at Thompson’s after he had retired. I remember him teaching me how to grade white beans and we shared many good laughs as he would tell us stories. His laugh and good sense of humour was infectious. It was always a joy seeing him around Hensall. It is for people like Cecil that made me successful in what do today in my profession.
May the good memories of him help you on the day that feel tough.
