What a shock to hear of Piet’s passing.

Memories of Piet will always include values that he shared with Coby such as “Family is First” and pride of the 4 boys along with a passion for farming and a outstanding work ethic even in “retirement”
Memories of his no nonsense attitude and intolerance toward the opposite will forever make me smile.

Gecondoleerd met met het zo plotselinge verlies van Piet. Kerstmis het feest van de geboorte en niet van de dood.
De herinneringen aan jullie tijd in Nederland komen dan weer boven en vooral Piet zijn tijd bij de drumband.
Piet was er altijd en vol overgave zonder concessies aan datgene waarvoor we gingen.
Het afscheidsfeest van Nederland in de Smelehof met muziek van Trade mark het is net alsof het gisteren was. Maar nu een ander afscheid helaas.
Voor de komende tijd jullie allemaal veel sterkte. Wellicht komen jullie Piet nog vaak tegen bij alles wat jullie samen opgebouwd hebben in Canada en waarbij de gedachten aan Piet wellicht nog vaak terugkomen.
