My sympathy to Pat’s family, it is sad to thing of all that she had to endure but she truly exemplified a grace filled walk with her Saviour and now as always she in her Lord’s care. We enjoyed the times she would drop in and visit us as we worked in our garden. I also got to know Pat when I tended to her pets on a professional basis especially Snowball. Her strong faith is an example for all of us. She always trusted God enough though she a number of challenges and very sad things to deal with in her life. She will be missed but she truly touched many lifes and encouraged us to see and experience the joy that comes with a Christian’s pilgrimage.
May God bless you all and give you peace in this time of sorrow, and time of celebration of a life well lived. May we all see Pat again some day.
    Sincerely,
    Larry Joosse

To Lori and to all the Saunders’ and Young Family,
There really are no words that anyone can say that can take away the hurt and instant loneliness that comes from the loss of a loved one. Even when it is expected, and even when it is welcomed as an end to pain. Even when you know your loved one is now with God and they have been renewed. Even when you know they are at peace; it still hurts. Just know that we are thinking of you and praying for you; that God will bring you His comfort and strength and also His peace, the kind of peace only He can give; peace that surpasses all understanding. You have our heartfelt sympathy.

It is so sad when someone who has lived so well passes away at a relatively young age. My prayers are with each in the family, especially Miranda, whom I know, for, despite the knowledge that Pat is without pain and suffering in the presence of Jesus, you will rightly miss her presence – she is absent from you. We grieve along with you. May that same Jesus who has wiped away her pain be close to you and comfort you at this time of loss.
