Passed away peacefully, at his home in Zurich (St. Joseph), on Sunday, January 20, 2013, surrounded by his family in his 65th year. Beloved husband and best friend to Gail (Irvine) Parsons for 28 years. Father to Vicki (Shawn), Casey (Laura), Cassandra, Tammy (Kenny) and Amy (Paul). Loving Poppa to Jenny, Lux, Aven, and Kruze. Ron will be missed by his sister Marion Hubert and his in-laws Ruth Irvine (Bill), Glenn Irvine (Donna), Tom Irvine (Kathy) and Alex Irvine (Janet). Youngest son of the late Frank and Jean Parsons.
A gathering to celebrate Ron’s life will take place at the Bluewater Community Centre, 15 East Street, Zurich on Thursday, January 24th from 2-4 PM. Cremation has taken place.
Donations to the London Health Sciences Foundation-Thameswood Lodge would be appreciated by the family.

Gail, I don’t where to start here. I am so sorry to read about Ron, and relieved for him also, as I knew what he suffering through. This is such an emotionally draining time for you all, and will be for some time to come, I”m sure. Ron also made me laugh, when ever I saw him, you always walked away from him, feeling happier then you were moments before. His way with animals was outstanding, and I will always remember that when I think of Ron, I am so sorry you have to go through with what you are now, and I wish there was something, anything I could do to ease your pain. Please know I am here, you can use these old shoulders, and ears anytime you need someone to vent to, or just to be there. I am so glad we got two of our dogs from you, or would never been fortunate enough to have met the two of you, The pictures you have on here, captured Ron perfectly. They teared me up many times, and I watched them over and over. Thank you for sharing them. We are thinking of you Gail, wishing this pain would ease quickly for you, and for all the good moments you shared with Ron over the years be in the fore front of all your memories.
Sorry we were not at the gathering you had on the 24th, we were just arriving home from out of the Country, and didn’t realize what had taken place until it was too late. We spoke of Ron often while we were away, and wondered how he was. Sorry we missed this service, I would have loved to have been there,
