My heart felt condolences to the entire O’Neil family. It was an honor and privilege to meet Mr. O’Neil as well as the rest of his gracious family while up in London at Gary and Peggy’s wedding. He was a true gentleman and gracious host. The hospitality shown to us rivals that of our Southern hospitality. My deepest sympathy during this difficult time. The entire O’Neil family are in my thoughts and prayers. Much love to you all.

Condolence from Bill Lewallen, September 13, 2019 8:35 PM

I was privileged to meet, I think, the entirety of the O ‘Neil Family on the occasion of Peggy Maureen’s marriage to my Nephew Gary Wilson. I tried to learn all of your names and relationships, but probably failed. It was a wonderful experience meeting such a great, robust group of such happy, friendly folks. Y’all certainly lived up to your reputations as warm-hearted, welcoming people, you Canadians. Gary did us proud and has made us glad and grateful by bringing Peggy and Sarah Grace, and, by extension, all the O’Neils into our family. We are saddened by the passing of your Patriarch Dan, but feel comforted by the thoughts of all the great and wonderful life-long memories you all collectively will have to share of him.

My prayers and best wishes to you all.

    Dear Bev and Family,
So sad to hear about Dan. So happy we got down to see him in the spring. You may be sure that Dan’s spirit will be very close to you all as you go through this very harrowing next few days. May you also know that our thoughts and prayers will be with you as well. Though I will be at camp this weekend you will be continually on my mind and in my heart.
The Bible tells us build up our treasure in heaven and since all that we take with us when we go is the love of family and friends , Dan has gone to God a very wealthy man indeed. He has gone only as far away as God and God is very close to those who mourn so when you miss him the most is when he will be the closest to you. May God bless and comfort you in your sorrow. Love and prayers always.

    September 13, 2019 at 3:52 PM

Dear Beverly, and all of the O’neil family,

We are so very sorry to hear of Dan’s passing. We were able to meet with Dan only on one occasion, the marriage of our son, Gary Patrick to Peggy. It took only that one occasion, however, to realize how blessed we are that Gary marrried an Irish girl from such a wonderful family. Carroll still speaks of his short visit and talk with Dan. We were made to feel right at home when we ere up there. Our thoughts will be with you all tomorrow, and in the days to come.

    Love to you all.

    Carroll and Georgette Wilson

Being an “adopted “ daughter to this family is an honour. Danny and I had many many hours of stories to tell each other. I think we both knew we were both full of it because the stories got better and better every time we talked. You created a hell of a Wolfpack Dan. They’ll always look after me, you taught them well. I’ll be proud to keep your tales spinning for many more years.
