NOELS: Gordon J. of London, and formerly of Grand Bend

LondonpoliceAt LHSC-University Hospital on Monday, April 25, 2016, of London and formerly of Grand Bend.  Beloved husband of Christine (Glen) and the late Connie Noels (2006).  Dear father of Brent Noels (Bernice) of Port Stanley, Craig Noels (Naoko) of Vancouver, Shauna Ewart (Jade), Erin Glen (Paul), Karna Glen (Mark), and Robyn Glen (Joey) all of London.  Dear grandfather of Amber, Jenna, Zack, Brice and Claire.  Dear brother and brother-in-lawof Mona and Peter deRyk of London, and Donald and Helen Noels of Kingsville.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his daughter Erin, and sister Dora Burks.

Cremation has taken place.

Friends may gather at the Lucan Community Memorial Centre, 263 Main Street, Lucan on Thursday, April 28th at 1 PM for a celebration of life service that will begin at 1:30 PM.  An opportunity to share stories with the family will follow immediately.

Donations to Community Living South Huron, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

    Dear Chris and family,

    So sorry to learn of Gord’s passing. Gord was a mentor and role model to many of us in the Police Association of Ontario, and he was always one of my favourites. I always enjoyed Gord’s sense of humour and kindness, and admired his passion for the profession and standing up for what was right. My condolences for your loss.

    My sincerest condolences, I have many great memories of Gord. His laugh was always contagious. He and Neal spent many hours traveling to and from meetings together. I had a good visit on the phone with him in early December.

Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
