Earl Wilmer Neil

Suddenly at his late residence on Sunday, November 15, 2009, of RR 1 Exeter and his summer residence Highlands 3 for the past 41 years, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Jean (King) Neil. Dear father of Jim and Anne Neil, Wendy and Jim Kerslake all of Exeter and Brenda and Steve Schroeder of Dashwood. Dear grandfather of Chris and Rhonda Neil, Melanie and William Jeffrey, Jason and Candice Neil, Zach and Kelly Neil, Sherry Kerslake and her friend Shawn, Jeff and Jill Kerslake, Joanne Kerslake and her friend Dave, Jesse and Rachel Schroeder, Brittney Schroeder and Carly Schroeder; and great-grandfather of Justin, Alex, Stacey, Will, Wesley and Cullen. Dear brother-in-law of Murray Mackey of Sylvan and Melba Maillett of Goderich. Predeceased by sisters Crystal, Violet, Myrtle, Gladys and Marion; and brothers Roland, Clarence, Irvin and Merton.

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, one west of Main, Exeter on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 19th at 11AM with Rev. Sheila Macgregor officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery.

Donations to Crediton United Church, Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

    I spoke with Earl several times lately at TJs’ and as always, completely enjoyed his smile and kind words…we spoke about his having helped my youngest son Will when he had car trouble down the road from your home. What a truly great person he was. He sure will be missed by many.

Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
