Condolence from Billy-Joe & Denise Rowcliffe on February 1st, 2013 11:42 AM

Richard and girls:
Sorry to about your father’s passing. We were reminiscencing over Cecil’s passing and remember when Henry and Cecil both worked here and your father helped put steel on our barn. Strangely, looking out the window today at all of this snow reminds me of 1972 when I shunted all of you kids home on the old snowmobile we had. That was the last great storm we’ve had.
Take care, God bless, and remember all of the fond memories,
Billy-Joe and Denise Rowcliffe

Dear aunt Dina and family far abroad,

Our deepest condolances with the loss of uncle Johan.

Allthough we haven’t met recently, I will remember him as a very kind and calm person.
Several years ago, we were driving back to Shiphol airport after a visit in Holland. It was a long period of dry, warm weather. In the sky were a lot of stripes – fumes from passing aircrafts – to be seen. He said that these stipes were an indication of rain to come. It was true. The next day it rained! Each time since, when I see those stripes in the sky, I’ll think of his words; There is rain in the sky….
Just one of those memories I wanted to share with you.
I’m sure that there are lots of memories that will last forever.
We wish you all the strenght,to cope with this loss.

Greetings Christian Heezen en Monika Veerbeek.
