    I had the pleasure of working with Lois on the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Foundation Board and Conservation Dinner Committee. A woman who was always willing to tackle a project and then follow through to see its completion. She kept meticulous notes for her committee when planning the Conservation Dinner, making for a successful fundraiser each year. What a wonderful ambassador for her community and the Foundation . I am thankful to have had the opportunity to cross paths with her over the years.
    My condolences to the family and know her dedication was an inspiration to all.

We have enjoyed many good times with her at her and Uncle Joe’s home and at our cottage. I always looked up to her as being a strong and caring person. She was a “giver” and always worked hard for whatever project was her current passion. My thoughts will be with you as you lay her to rest. Just think of the celebration of Joy in heaven as she joins the other Morgans and Kelly’s!
    Sincerely Dana Allin and family.

    Our sincere condolences on the loss of your mom. Our sympathy to you Bonnie, to your sister and brother’s families. as well. It is so difficult to lose the matriarch of a family anytime, but especially in these very unusual times of Covid. Just when we need a hug and loved ones around us, we are being told not to do these caring acts to slow down the advancement of the virus.
    Your mom sounds as if she was a very busy, active member of the community and cared not only for your family but also history and the environment.

    Judy, Bonnie, Kevin, and families;
    Lois was such a special person to our family. I have so many wonderful memories of her like the year of the big snow storm when she invited us for Christmas breakfast. She got us our summer jobs working in the corn fields and I would also go to work with her when she needed extra help in the office. We can’t forget about the Halloween popcorn balls!! We were so blessed to have her in our lives. We are sending our sincere condolences and hugs to all of you.
