Posted By Haskett Funeral Homes On October 5, 2020 @ 2:47 PM In Exeter,Obituary | 101 Comments
Peacefully at Exeter Villa, Exeter on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Burdene Morgan (2018). Proud father of John and Joyce Morgan of Exeter, Gerry and Joan Morgan of Exeter, Scot Morgan and Judy Parsons of Usborne Township, and Susan and David Regier of St. Joseph. Dear grandfather of Becky (Scott), Christine (Brian); Jaclyn (Cyrus), Heather (Mike) and Paul; Shawn (Marlee) and Steven (Georgie); Jason (Alia), Connor (Kaela) and Janelle (John). Bev will be fondly remembered by his 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Dear brother of Jane and Bev DeKay of London. Predeceased by his sisters and brothers Helen (Fred) Ellerington, Anne (Carrie) Joynt, Al (Pat) Morgan, and Grant (Joan) Morgan.
Bev worked the family farm on McTaggart Line in Usborne Township for more than 40 years while running the Bev Morgan General Insurance Agency and Purina Dealership, which were passed on to his sons when he retired. Bev was an active member of the Exeter Lions Club, the Exeter Curling Club, and the Exeter Nomads for many years. Bev had a love for restoring vintage tractors and enjoyed wintering in Florida with Burdene. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Exeter Villa for the excellent care Bev received over the past 3 years and to Dr. Lam for her care over the last 23 years.
Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Haskett Funeral Home, EXETER entrusted with arrangements. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.

To the Morgan Family . . .
It is with saddened hearts that we are sending our sincerest sympathy on the passing of Bev. A wonderful, kind, sincere, proud loving Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather who along with your Mother, Burdene raised a wonderful family and both had every reason to be proud of all of you. It is so obvious to see all the love by all the pictures you have chosen to be displayed online. Treasure the wonderful memories and happy moments your parents have blessed each of you with, as these moments will bring a warm smile to your heart. You have so many wonderful families, friends, neighbours & community grieving along side you also – please find strength by leaning on them for faith, courage, comfort, and support. “Grief never ends …. But it changes. It’s a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith …. It is the price of love.”
Sending lots of LOVE & HUGS to all. 💞🙏💞
