Unexpectedly at his home in St. Joseph on Monday, May 13, 2019, formerly of Exeter at the age of 61. Beloved husband of Mary (Willis) Monteith for 37 years. Cherished father of Chad and Pam Monteith of St. Joseph, and Jason Monteith of St. Joseph. Special papa of Madison, and Cheyenne. Loved son-in-law of Shirley Kirk of Exeter. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Jo-Ann and Mark Johnston of Thunder Bay, Rick and Doreen Gaiser of Waterloo, Gerald and Elsie Willis of Hensall, and Bob and Judy Willis of Dashwood. Alan will be missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Frank Monteith, and Annette Laurin.
Visitation will be held Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, EXETER on Saturday, May 25th from 9:30 – 10:30 AM, where the memorial service will be held at 11 AM. Pastor Dennis Estep, officiating. Cremation has taken place.
For those who wish, donations to Jessica’s House would be appreciated by the family.
