At LHSC-Victoria Hospital, London on Thursday, August 18, 2016, of Granton in his 57th year. Beloved husband of Nancy (De Block) Mills for 33 years. Dear father of Christopher and Carla Mills, and Stephanie and Kevin Anderson all of London. Dear son and step-son of Barbara Mills of Cornwall, and Ron and Cavell Mills of Strathroy. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Terry and MaryJean Mills of Thorndale, Jim Mills and Vickie of St. Marys, Gord and Christina Mills of Gobles, Marjorie Guitar and Bill of London, Bill and Sandy De Block of Sarnia, Jim and Betty De Block of Exeter, John and Diane De Block of London, Peter De Block of London, and Cate De Block of St. Marys. Fondly remembered by step-brothers (Mike, Brad, and Jason Duquette), and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Howard was a volunteer firefighter with the Granton Fire Department for over 35 years, and a long time employee of Norampac in St. Marys.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where the complete funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 20th at 12 PM (noon) with Pastor Paul Vollick officiating. Cremation with interment Granton Cemetery.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or Villages United Church would be appreciated by the family.
